Munaf Patel has been having a pretty bad day. He has been totally unlucky in his first spell. While this post is being written three catches have already been dropped of his bowling. All the three catches were of Flintoff, that too two of them of consecutive deliveries. This can definitely demoralize any bowler. The first one was left by sehwag, the second one by kumble, while the third catch which was caught by Irfan pathan was well after crossing the boundaries, there by enabling Flintoff to get a Six. Definitely Munaf Patel would like to forget this day. Cheer up Munaf, you have bowled well, Its all part of the game. Dont loose heart.

Indian Cricket Player Munaf patel has made debut against england. His debut has been quite impressive. we had been covering about Munaf patel and had reported about his probable selection against england because of his impressive 10 wicket spell against them. Munaf Patel captured three wickets in the first innings and four vital wickets in the second innings to return with a match figure of 7 for 97. He had been a vital support for Kumble, who picked up the man of the match award. Incidentally kumble also became the first Indian bowler to pick up 500 wickets during this test match. The other debutant piyush chawla picked up his first test wicket, which was that of Flintoff. The catch was taken by Munaf patel. So it has been an impressive debut for Munaf patel.

Cricket Player - Indian - Munaf Patel Makes Debut

Munaf patel must be feeling wonderful and lucky, considering that when the first test squad against england was announced he was not even picked. Yet he impressed the selectors with his ten wicket haul in the first class match against england. Here today he made his Test debut. Though he was not very impressive [ no judgements, just a casual comment, we know we need to give this young guy a lot more time to pass on any judgements about his ability ] still he did get the prized wicket of Kevin Peiterson. Laxmipathy Balaji is the cricket player to watch for future. This lanky speedster is from TamilNadu. He had a fine stint with the Indian team both with his new ball bowling ability. He also caught the attention of Mr. Mushraf, when he hit paceman Akthar for Six. So in 2004 when India toured pakistan Balaji was one youngster who made a great impact. Unfortunately his injury has forced him away from International tournaments. Every one is waiting to see Balaji back in action. Good Luck Balaji.
