Cricket Player - Indian - Suresh Raina Shines

We had already featured Suresh Raina as a promising talent for the future Indian Cricket. He just proved his mettle yesterday in the Second One Day match between India and England. When India was 90 for the loss of 5 wickets, England would have thought they had the match under their belt. But the 19 year old youngster Suresh Raina, snatched the victory from England. He played a wonderful innings, in which he also made his maiden half century. This innings earned him the "man of match ". The point to be noted here is that India was in a similar position against Srilanka and the pair of Suresh Raina and Dhoni was the one which rescued on that day. Here again it was Raina and Dhoni who played sensibly to ensure the win. Keep up the good work Raina.

Cricket Player - Indian - Hard Luck Munaf Patel

Munaf Patel has been having a pretty bad day. He has been totally unlucky in his first spell. While this post is being written three catches have already been dropped of his bowling. All the three catches were of Flintoff, that too two of them of consecutive deliveries. This can definitely demoralize any bowler. The first one was left by sehwag, the second one by kumble, while the third catch which was caught by Irfan pathan was well after crossing the boundaries, there by enabling Flintoff to get a Six. Definitely Munaf Patel would like to forget this day. Cheer up Munaf, you have bowled well, Its all part of the game. Dont loose heart.
